The device has a 2-level gain switch, the low gain has 0dB gain, and the high-gain provides 15.5dB of signal gain.

The SMSL SH-6 is designed for HiFi performance and features a high-quality metal casing and classic toggles. The two gain settings are controlled by toggle switches on the front, offering user freedom to choose between two available gain settings. High gain for 15.5dB and low for 0dB.
